Mazel tov to Cara, who celebrated her bat mitzvah this past weekend. We met Friday at Adat Shalom for some portraits with Cara and her family. Saturday night, Cara celebrated with family and friends at a luau themed party at the Pittsburgh Field Club. Kudos to Cara’s mom Amy, who worked hard to plan and coordinate all the details. Decor included festive palm tree balloons and feathery palm tree centerpieces, plus leis for each guest and vibrant beach towels for each child.
Thankfully the storm that loomed all afternoon cleared just before the party began, so adults enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour outside on the terrace. This was my first time at the Pittsburgh Field Club, and I was thrilled to see the beautiful view I’d heard about. The Club sits on top of a hill, and you have a view of the golf course and the tops of many trees of Fox Chapel. So pretty.
Once the party began, kids and adults alike enjoyed entertainment by DJ JC, along with Sinncere and Anthony. These guys do such a great job. I saw nothing but smiles and laughs all night!
