It’s been a quiet year on the blog! Why? Because, after living on the east side of Pittsburgh since my arrival in this beautiful city back in 1996, my family and I have moved north. Much of time my time this year has been devoted to preparing our house to sell, looking at houses, packing, unpacking, moving, shuffling, hustling, signing papers, packing, recycling, donating, driving…

But now we’ve moved in to our new home, and we love it.

We’re still getting settled, but thankfully our garage no longer looks like this.

We’re all quite fond of our new home and surroundings. Iroh the dog is awfully fond of staring out the sun room window, watching the squirrels, chipmunks, turkeys and deer that frequently pass by. And flopping in the yard.

I often stop and gaze at the view out the back, too.

It’s debatable who gets more enjoyment out of the laundry chute, Leo or me. I LOVE the laundry chute!!!

The boys now each have their own bedroom. This means new signs.

Being 5 minutes from Trader Joe’s has greatly improved my life, but what I love most of all about our location is being just under a mile from North Park.

Stay tuned for many posts of the fabulous 2015 sessions I have yet to share!
