Dana and Brad’s wedding was the result of quite a lot of careful planning. This meticulous couple put a lot of thought into all of their decisions… and that hard work paid off. It was a privilege to document their wedding day and work with what we called the “dream team” of wedding vendors.

One of Dana’s maids of honor described Dana’s attention to detail and extremely organized nature. I definitely noticed that too during the planning process – but the amazing thing is that while Dana had clear ideas about what she wanted, at the same time she was laid back, calm and above all, considerate and gracious. Dana & Brad, I couldn’t be happier for you and couldn’t be happier that we had such a beautiful November day!

Many thanks to Alisa for assisting me; several of the photos below are hers. And also, many thanks to the tireless Ryan McLaughlin for assisting with my embarrassing amount of gear and anticipating just about every thought I had. Just when I’d think to myself, “gosh I’m thirsty” he’d be handing me a bottle of water and just as I’d think “I could use a stepstool here” there it would be. Thank you Ryan!

Here are some of my favorite images from Dana & Brad’s wedding day.

Dana & Brad chose to have a first look. When I spoke to them a week before the wedding, they both said this was the moment they were most looking forward to. They were so excited to have a chance to spend a few minutes alone together! The bridal party joined us at the North Shore for some group portraits. Alisa shot some fantastic group photos of the groomsmen – but this candid moment she captured is my favorite. Dana & Brad live on Mount Washington, so naturally their ceremony took place at St. Mary of the Mount. So many smiles in this photo!

We took just a few more portraits at Station Square before it was time to join the reception. One of my favorite things about the Reflections Room at the Sheraton – the lights on the Smithfield Street bridge outside. Even better is how happy these two look. The room looked absolutely amazing… more photos to come in a separate post. Eventually…I have to share this one because my sons were looking over my shoulder as I sorted through Dana & Brad’s photos, and this was their favorite. “Did he really bite the cake, Mom? Did he do it?” (No, of course not.)As always, the amazing Eric Schiemer got the party started… and then it didn’t stop.

In case you’re not sure… yep, this is Gangnam Style.

Congratulations, Dana & Brad! I hope that you are enjoying sun and sand in Aruba!
