This past Saturday I joined Jess Slavic of JESPhotography for Bridgette & James’s wedding. Their ceremony was at St. Paul’s Church in downtown Butler, and the reception was at Greystone Fields in Gibsonia.
This was my first visit to Greystone Fields – and it did not disappoint! It’s conveniently located just a few miles from the Pennsylvania Turnpike, but it’s a secluded spot on a quiet, windy road. The landscaping is beautiful, with a little waterfall, gazebo, and lots of lights. The reception room has windows on three sides, a high ceiling and beautiful hardwood floors.
I think if you had three hours to spend shooting portraits of a bride and groom, you wouldn’t run out of locations. We only had about 15 minutes, though, but we did still get some beautiful images of Bridgette and James.
I did not find out (yet!) which amazing baker-artist made Bridgette and James’s cake. I would have to say that this was my favorite wedding cake I’ve seen this year. The swirls, the layers, the impressive size… Amazing. Kudos to the baker! (And in the background of the first cake photo, you can get a look at the staircase that leads from the bridal suite down to the reception room.)
These two girls were so cute and fun!
Finally two night views of Greystone Fields’ exterior. The front:
And the back, with a moody moon and sky.

Beautiful as always. Love the cake shots and of course those girls with the wax lips.
