This past Saturday, September 12, 2009, I was so thrilled to join the talented and enthusiastic Randi Voss for Danielle and Tom’s wedding.
What a sweet couple! Danielle and Tom were both so calm, laidback and relaxed. You could clearly tell that they were listening to the advice that so many give to couples getting married: “just relax and try to enjoy every minute because it goes so fast.”
Amazingly vibrant bridesmaids’ bouquets
Danielle was all smiles. All day!
Just for fun, a little zoom blur on the bridesmaid’s exit.
After the ceremony in Duquesne’s beautiful chapel, we walked through the campus for some pictures. (One of the groomsmen, a Penn Stater, saw the football field and asked if that was the “practice field.” I guess it is a little smaller than Beaver Stadium, which probably seats about 107,000 more people.)
In Randi’s blog post, she shared a photo of her removing a very long yellow rope that would have interfered significantly with the group bridal party photo. I’d like to document that she did indeed put it back!
Danielle & Tom’s reception was at the Radisson in Greentree. They chose table names rather than numbers, and the names were various places, people and items significant to them.
Parting shot: “You Shook Me All Night Long”
Congratulations, Danielle & Tom!

Christina,
Thank you so much for coming with me to Danielle and Tom’s wedding. It was great to have your support (photographic and otherwise). You got so many great shots! I’m a sucker for air guitar.
