The weather has not been kind to Jen and Jim! We already had rescheduled their engagement session twice, and our third date brought a very cold and rather windy morning. But these two braved the cold temperatures, never complaining one bit. I really like cold weather, so I wasn’t complaining either, but then… I was wearing a jacket and gloves!

We began the session at Washington’s Landing, and walked around with their adorable dog, Lyla. She was so good and patient! Don’t miss the photo of her waiting at the top of the steps… so sweet. After Jen and Jim were pretty numb from cold (but not complaining!) we drove over to the Strip District for a change of scenery. The Strip used to be a halfway meeting point for Jen and Jim, so besides providing an urban backdrop, this is a place with sentimental value!

Here are a few favorites from our chilly morning.
