I’ve been at this photography thing for quite a while (10 years!), but one thing I’d never done was photograph a high school senior. I can’t say that anymore! I was delighted to photograph Jess, sister of former bride Katie, this week in my backyard of North Park. (Ok, I don’t literally live in North Park, but I’m close and I spend so much time there that I basically consider it my backyard.)

As we got started I asked Jess if she could describe her personality in a few words. I know, not really fair to give her an assignment when school hasn’t started yet. She made it clear that she’s not a particularly serious person, so I knew we’d be avoiding a lot of contemplative or straight-faced photos!

Jess and her entourage (mom and sister) didn’t hesitate to do some walking to get to some great locations, so we were able to visit a few of my favorite spots in my favorite park. What a fun evening!
