Most weddings are on Saturdays, but every once in a while I get a little tiny weekday wedding. While I’m very fond of the big Saturday affairs, I’m really also quite fond of these little afternoon weddings. While everyone else is going about their normal weekday business, we’re sneaking off for a little bit for an extremely special occasion! It’s different and unique and just as memorable and meaningful as a big weekend event.

Deborah and David chose the beautiful, historic Grand Concourse restaurant for their Thursday afternoon wedding, officiated by Rev. Jeremy. They stood at the top of the staircase as they exchanged their vows, and then we spent just a few minutes on portraits. Deborah had previously told me that she’d only liked one or two photos of herself EVER before, and I was determined to change that. I love the classic portrait of her on the stairs!

Here are a few of my favorites from this lovely Grand Concourse wedding.
