WHY IS THE THE PUMP HOUSE AT THE WATERFRONT, HOMESTEAD A GOOD CHOICE FOR WEDDING PHOTOS OR AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
- You can get some diverse photos here. There’s the brick Pump House building, the Monongahela river, the nearby railroad bridge, and some big steel beams and other foundry objects. It’s an interesting blend – you can get some photos with an industrial look, and others that are your more classic outdoorsy feel.
- Plenty of parking.
- The Homestead smokestacks are a short drive away.
But keep in mind…
- There are craft sales and markets here some times.
- You can only go inside the Pump House with prior permission and arrangements to have someone let you in. But if you can arrange it, the light inside is gorgeous.
