Why isĀ Carnegie Mellon University a good choice for wedding photos or an engagement session?

  • CMU’s campus has a lot to offer! The iconic Hamerschlag Hall tower, the sculptured niches of the College of Fine Arts building, and lots of big trees and open space. And if that’s not enough, Pitt’s campus and Schenley Park are very close by.
  • There are a lot of different beautiful photo spots at Carnegie Mellon! There are a lot of photos to look through in this gallery. To get a better idea of where on the North Shore these locations are, check out the interactive photo location guide map below.

Any caveats?

  • Be prepared to do a little walking. Some of the prettiest spots are not right next to each other.
  • The Mudge House courtyard is not open to the public. You’ll need a CMU connection with access to that building to go in there.
