Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer | Christina Montemurro bio picture
  • Hello! I’m Christina.

Welcome! If you're looking for a wedding or portrait photographer in the Pittsburgh area, you're in the right place.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make during your wedding planning. It's so important to find someone you can trust to capture the big and small moments of your wedding day, and someone who makes you feel comfortable at ease.

I'm known for being laid back and relaxed, and respect that this is your day to celebrate and enjoy. My goal is to get you beautiful images efficiently and unobtrusively so that you have lots of time for fun.

Fall Saturdays aren’t just for weddings. They’re also for Piranhas.

It’s the height of wedding season for me, but that’s not all. For Leo, my 5-year-old, it’s also time for fall soccer. So every Saturday, he dons shin guards and runs chaotically up and down the soccer field in a big mob. Every parent on the sidelines shares the same silent (or more often, very loudly shouted) wish: “kick it towards your OWN goal!” and “Please don’t score a goal for the other team!”

It really doesn’t matter, because the whole point is to have fun. In fact, parents are ordered to only provide positive feedback, and they very specifically don’t keep score.

I love that all the teams have spirited names, not just The Red Team. Leo was thrilled when he found out he was on the Piranhas. Especially since every time he was in a pool this summer, he pretended to be a Piranha.

A couple weeks ago, his team had an early morning game. Since the sun wouldn’t be so high and harsh, I decided this was a perfect opportunity to shoot some video of his practice and game.

An additional motivator was that the opposing team had a few players who were in his pre-K class. I had a feeling he might be a little silly playing against them.

I was right. Oh, was I right! There was LOTS of silliness. Even our wonderful, upbeat, patient coach, who definitely sticks to offering only positive feedback, had to tell him to knock it off a couple times.

Enjoy this clip. If you have any doubt about which one is Leo, he’s the goof with brown pants who insists on wearing his shin guards OVER his pants. Sigh.

And now I’m off to a soccer game, a birthday party, and a wedding on a gorgeous October Saturday.

Wow……That shot at 0:46…….Amazing. That was really, really good. The feet below the tire swing are killer too!

Leo (and Jonas) are the luckiest kids ever to have you as a mom.
