Mazel tov to Caroline, who is now a bat mitzvah! Outside, it was one of the coldest days of the year, but inside Caroline did a fantastic job reading from the Torah and offering sage advice about being open-minded and accepting, and not making assumptions based on appearances.
In the evening after her bat mitzvah service at Temple Sinai in Squirrel Hill, Caroline celebrated with her friends and family (some even traveled from California!) at the Pittsburgh Golf Club.
