Mazel tov to Jonah! I had the privilege of shooting this bright young man’s bar mitzvah service at Temple Sinai on a perfect, sunny April day. I’ve been moved by every service I’ve been to at Temple Sinai, but this one went even above and beyond as both Rabbi Gibson and Rabbi Symons were in attendance. Every time, I’m awed by the wit, sincerity and genuine warmth from these two.
And this time, I was also extremely impressed by the bar mitzvah boy himself. Jonah’s Torah reading was effortless, and it was clear that he’s not just intelligent and resourceful, but artistic, too.
