Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer | Christina Montemurro bio picture
  • Hello! I’m Christina.

Welcome! If you're looking for a wedding or portrait photographer in the Pittsburgh area, you're in the right place.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make during your wedding planning. It's so important to find someone you can trust to capture the big and small moments of your wedding day, and someone who makes you feel comfortable at ease.

I'm known for being laid back and relaxed, and respect that this is your day to celebrate and enjoy. My goal is to get you beautiful images efficiently and unobtrusively so that you have lots of time for fun.

Out of the office.

Hello! After an extraordinarily busy (and wonderful!) June and July, I’m looking forward to a week at the beach with my extended family, followed by another short trip with just my husband! I’ll have internet access while away but e-mailers can expect to experience longer than average response times while I enjoy a bit of rest and relaxation. I’ll be back in full swing August 12.

Lexie and Ryan’s Wedding – St. Paul’s Cathedral and Phipps Conservatory

Lexie and Ryan have both lived in more than a few states and cities around the United States. While very, very few of their friends and family live in Pittsburgh, it’s currently their home, so they chose to have their wedding ceremony at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland, followed by a terrific party in the outdoor garden at Phipps Conservatory.

I began the day with Lexie and her bridesmaids at Salon 22 in Lawrenceville. And I’ll begin this blog post with this remarkable photo of Lexie’s bridesmaid, Kaitlyn. Why is it remarkable? If you know me… and have seen my profile before… does Kaitlyn not look just like me??? I was with her all that wedding day and never saw any resemblance, and still don’t in any other photo of Kaitlyn. But here, wow. That could be me.

The stylists at Salon 22 did a great job with the task of doing hair and makeup for quite a few women and keeping them on schedule. We next traveled to the Hilton Garden Inn in Oakland, where Lexie gave gifts to her flower girl and bridesmaids. Awww! Rhemy was absolutely delighted.Check out Lexie’s fabulous shoes! And gown, too. Stunning choices.Meanwhile, two floors down, Ryan calmly got ready along with his parents.Just love this huge grin from Lexie’s Uncle John, who walked her down the very long aisle at St. Paul’s.The Phipps outdoor garden is one of the best spots anywhere for cocktail hour. Guests can stroll around the garden, pick up a signature cocktail at a bar surrounded by vines, and then go relax on a bench.Photo by Kevin.First dance was the classic “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green. Photo by Alisa. After a delicious dinner, DJ Eric Schiemer worked his magic and helped get a terrific party going. If I hadn’t know differently, I would have thought they had 200 guests – not 65 – from all the celebrating!Photo by Kevin.Special treat for guests: a popcorn bar at the end of the night, with paper bags so you could take some home. What a great idea.Congratulations Lexie and Ryan!!! So happy for you.
