Light blue and brown wedding details

Melissa had some fabulous details at her October wedding. Her colors officially were called “cloud” and “cappuccino” – which could also be described as light blue and light brown. She incorporated these colors all throughout her reception decor, and the effect was striking. I know there are some naysayers who think that putting so much time into planning the little things isn’t worth it because no one notices. To that notion, I am a naysayer! I can assure any bride that if I’m at your wedding, I definitely notice, and I shoot as many details as I see to help you remember all the work you did. And I always hear guests commenting on them, too.

Bridesmaids’ bouquets were these beautiful blue hydrangeas.

Paired with the cappuccino dresses, they were a winning combination.Note the blue and brown ribbon on the monogrammed vase.I loved that in addition to the consistent color scheme, Melissa chose a very unique, distinct font that she used in anything with words on it.wedding place cards with blue type and ribbonAnd since Melissa and Jason love the outdoors, their menus (and invitation) featured this stately tree.Programs sat at each guest’s seat, and each one had either blue or brown ribbon on it.VIP ceremony seating! These signs looked good and I’m sure made the bartenders’ jobs a little easier. Finally, the thank you box tied it all together. Great job Melissa!blue and brown wedding thank you card box
