7×7 #2

I’m quote proud of myself. When I posted last week’s 7×7, I thought there was a good chance there would never be a sequel. But here we are, one week later, and the second installment is done.

7×7 #2 from Christina Montemurro on Vimeo.

1. Jonas cheers for Leo at his soccer game (shot on iphone, hence the tininess)

2. the old dog can still chase a few balls

3. Matt makes a latte

4. Leo runs a kite

5. pretty trees in our front yard

6. I let Leo have a turn

7. I do still play once in a while (bonus points to anyone who can name that tune)

fun! i was always terrible at name that tune haha

This 7×7 is a trend I’d like to see you continue. The first clip is my favorite (and I’m sure that it is yours as well) since mega pixels are no match when an adorable Jonas is involved. I can’t name the tune, but you play it beautifully.

Melissa & Jason’s beautiful fall wedding at Frick Park and the Edgewood Club

I was a little worried last week. We’d had three gorgeous Saturdays in October, and I felt like we just couldn’t be lucky enough to have a fourth. But I needn’t have worried – we did indeed get another perfectly beautiful October Saturday, warm and dry.

Melissa was pretty nervous when I first arrived. But as soon as she put her dress on, she felt much calmer.

This is Melissa & Jason’s niece super beautiful niece, Victoria. I always love the amazement on little girls’ faces when they see the bride.Melissa & Jason opted to see each other before their ceremony. And they chose a perfect spot for a fall day – Frick Park, just a little ways away from their home and the site of their engagement pictures. Could there be a prettier place for a first look?! My view…

My amazing second shooter, Alisa Garin, had this angle.

We ventured down into the park for some bridal party portraits. Big round of applause to everyone – but especially Melissa, who was wearing heels – for trekking through the woods for these.I love the look of combining different colors for the ladies. In this case, “cloud blue” and “cappuccino.”One big benefit of shooting at a park like Frick is that dogs are quite welcome. This one by Alisa.Melissa & Jason’s boxer, Max, also attended the ceremony. Jason motions to him…No, Max, that didn’t mean come here!Good boy.I tried to stay away from this table, but somehow kept ending up back over there. Yum.

First dance: “Waste” by Phish, performed by Fourth River. I have to say that the bubble machine was a great idea.

Lots of dancing to the lively music provided by the band.

The Edgewood Club is a great venue… and I’m not just saying that because I only live three miles away. It’s a good-sized room, and the high beamed ceilings make it feel extra spacious. I’ll share more photos of the venue in a separate post. This year’s most popular song is not a new song: “Don’t Stop Believing”Congratulations Melissa & Jason!

nice job, Christina. I love the bridal photo in the park and the one of the couple, both in profile.
The great fall colors certainly add to the beauty of the scene.
