Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer | Christina Montemurro bio picture
  • Hello! I’m Christina.

Welcome! If you're looking for a wedding or portrait photographer in the Pittsburgh area, you're in the right place.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make during your wedding planning. It's so important to find someone you can trust to capture the big and small moments of your wedding day, and someone who makes you feel comfortable at ease.

I'm known for being laid back and relaxed, and respect that this is your day to celebrate and enjoy. My goal is to get you beautiful images efficiently and unobtrusively so that you have lots of time for fun.

Please look through my galleries and scroll down for recent work, and then contact me to reserve your date!

I’m an aunt again!

Super big happy congratulations to my sister Beth and her husband Madison. Their beautiful little daughter Kate has made her entrance into the world! Kate surprised us all by arriving three weeks and two days before her due date. The night before she was born, Beth called around 10pm and asked me, “so, tell me again – what does it feel like when  your water breaks?” She wasn’t having any contractions, so I thought she was probably just being a jittery rookie. Not so, though. Her water had broken, and Kate was born the next day.

This beautiful July baby’s middle name is Summer.

A little smile for her grandmother.

Welcome to the world, baby Kate! You are already much loved. Cousin Jonas has been looking over my shoulder at these photos and keeps asking to see baby Kate again.

Jerri & Jacob – engagement session in the Strip District

Meet Jerri and Jacob.Jerri and Jacob are both musicians. Jacob plays the saxophone, and Jerri’s a singer. I so love that it’s music that brought them together. When Jerri was a music student, Jacob was working part time accompanying music students. The very first person he accompanied was Jerri.

These two are clearly crazy about each other. I’m not sure if I ever had to suggest that they not look at the camera – they couldn’t take their eyes off each other.

How they met makes a good story, and The Proposal is pretty amazing too. Jacob proposed to Jerri on a little bridge. On one of the Hawaiian islands.

We kept our eye on the graffiti to be sure nothing objectionable ended up in the background. I liked this one. It could have said “GET OUT” or far worse, but this request was far more polite.

Jacob recently returned from a trip to an American military base in Qatar, where his band played for soldiers serving overseas.Jacob & Jerri – thank you so much for being such good sports, willing to try anything! I can’t wait for your wedding in just over a month.

This couple is gorgeous! Great use of light and color, especially complimentary to Jerri’s super cute dress. Their wedding is going to be so fun to photograph. Congratulations, J&J!
