I love flowers. In the garden, in a bouquet, in a vase, any which way including loose flowers, I love them. But I also love when brides and grooms think outside the box and create their own takes on tradition. Jennifer and Jon, who were married at the Heinz History Center last month, had one of the most creative, inventive ideas I’ve seen. Instead of floral boutonnieres, their ushers paid homage to Pittsburgh with these wooden trolley pins.
Jennifer’s resourceful maid of honor, Sara, found the trolleys on Amazon. Sara and a friend cut them and attached magnets so that they could be worn on the ushers’ jackets.
Kudos on the creativity!
