Pittsburgh Wedding Photographer | Christina Montemurro bio picture
  • Hello! I’m Christina.

Welcome! If you're looking for a wedding or portrait photographer in the Pittsburgh area, you're in the right place.

Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you'll make during your wedding planning. It's so important to find someone you can trust to capture the big and small moments of your wedding day, and someone who makes you feel comfortable at ease.

I'm known for being laid back and relaxed, and respect that this is your day to celebrate and enjoy. My goal is to get you beautiful images efficiently and unobtrusively so that you have lots of time for fun.

Ashley & Jason – engagement session in Mellon Park

I am sure that Ashley and Jason will live happily ever after. How do I know? Because they met at Penn State, and there’s why I met my husband! My logic is flawless. And lest I get any hate mail from Pitt fans, may I add that while my dear husband began his higher education at Penn State, he finished at Pitt, so we’re an equal opportunity university loving household.

Ashley & Jason met me on a cold but beautiful evening at Mellon Park in Shadyside. Much of the park is closed off due to construction, but there were still lots of great spots for pictures.

The tulips there still look great! Of course, so do Ashley & Jason.

My favorite of the evening:

The sky was very vibrant and moody. I didn’t want to blow out those clouds completely, so I used a little off camera flash to be sure that the sky stayed blue and Ashley and Jason were also lit.

Thanks so much to Jennifer Stein, who will be shooting Ashley and Jason’s wedding with me,  for being my voice-activated light stand.

Ashley & Jason, thanks for spending the evening looking gorgeous. I’m very much looking forward to your wedding next month at the Circuit Center!

Cheers to using off-camera lights in the daytime! I will be shooting a wedding here on May 22nd, so I hope that construction moves forward quickly!

They tore up the dance floor.

Last weekend I assisted Jess Slavic, who I had the pleasure of working with several times last year. As I’m busy working on finishing images from Jennifer & Jon’s wedding, I’ll share just a few from Saturday. This was the most fiery group of groomsmen I’ve ever seen on (and above) the dance floor.

Check out the height on this leap into the air…

You can’t fake an expression like this.

Or this.
