Megan & Allyn's Carnegie Museum Wedding

This past Saturday, on the easy-to-remember date 7-11, I was thrilled to be assisting the talented Pamela Marie as she photographed Megan and Allyn’s wedding at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh. I love Pamela’s photography; she has such a keen eye for location and composition, and always knows just how to pose and position her subjects. She clearly knows her equipment backward and forward, and I think she could operate all three of her cameras blindfolded! To boot, she has a great laugh and is fun to be around. :)

For a good part of the day, I found myself speechless. Why? Megan and Allyn leave the word gorgeous somewhere in the dust. I believe Megan was six feet tall before she put her shoes on. And as if she wasn’t stunning enough already, her halter gown with plunging neckline just stopped you in your tracks. I think it’s a good thing the bridal party took a limo and didn’t walk anywhere, because there would have been accidents from drivers stopping to stare!

And Allyn and the groomsmen were quite handsome themselves. Here they are getting ready at the Wyndham in Oakland.

Megan’s veil was so beautiful and perfectly complemented her gown and hair (and her maid of honor was six feet tall, too.)

Megan and Allyn had a quick first look at their hotel, and just a few minutes for pictures at the museum.

The only thing that can match the WOW! factor of the Hall of Architecture is the Music Hall Foyer. What a stunning spot for a wedding reception!
